Karen's
love of horses and her skills as a pastel artist have blended
over the years and are beginning to recognized by the art world.
Her passion to paint horses grew as she experienced the special
bond that forms through daily interaction with the beautiful
animals. Since starting to
display her works Karen has received many request for commissioned paintings. Other achievements include First Place Pastels & People's Choice Award at the 2007 Equine Dream Juried Art Show & Horse Expo in Sacramento CA and being juried into the "Draft Horse Classic" art show
in Grass Valley CA for the last 2 years.
Karen is a charter member of the 'Eastern Sierra Professional
Artists' and teaches drawing and pastels at Artistic Viewpoints
Gallery & Studio.
