Nancy has been painting for 35 years, although essentially self-taught,
she has studied with various artists for the purpose of defining and highlighting the detail, which is reflected in her work. While painting a large variety of subject matter, Nancy finds old buildings and barns her favorites. Painting in oils, her subject matter is captured in the natural color of the rural setting. Traveling throughout the West, in search of these vanishing structures has been, in itself, a historical and educational experience.

Many of Nancy's paintings are hanging in private and corporate collections across the
United States. She has also displayed her paintings in Monterey Peninsula art galleries
and the Rosicrucian Museum in San Jose, California.

A native-born Californian, Nancy now resides in Reno Nevada. She finds Nevada a perfect
environment, providing many and varied opportunities for the rural and rustic subjects
she loves to paint
